Sunnyvale will benefit from electing Cordes
The League of Conservation Voters is proud to endorse John Cordes for election to the Sunnyvale City Council in August. Personally, it has been my honor to see John’s work for the past 20 years to make Sunnyvale a better place for its residents to live. John has worked to reduce traffic and to make the city more sustainable. As an engineer and long time environmental leader, John Cordes is the best candidate for Sunnyvale’s council.

Cordes is best choice for Sunnyvale council
One of the many reasons John Cordes is the best choice for Sunnyvale City Council Seat 4 is because he wants the city to actively protect low income residents. Sunnyvale clearly has an affordable housing crisis. Mountain View and San Mateo, among other cities, have ballot measures this fall for rent stabilization. Sunnyvale has no protection for these residents against rapid rent increases. As a council member, John would advocate for rent stabilization for both mobile home parks and some apartments, pushing the city to take action. Please vote for John Cordes in the Sunnyvale special election.
On AUg 14th, The Sunnyale Rotary held a candidates forum for the 3 people competing in the Aug 16th special election. Here are some of the highlights about John
